did some wiring, got everything else in the engine bay hooked up. all vac lines and other tubing/hoses blah blah blah and TMIC + downpipe put back on. all wiring done and connected.
i tried priming the engine with the ecu unplugged, oil light is still there after all that annoying cranking. gonna be patient and try again tommorow in the morning, its kinda late right now to be cranking an engine i might get my ass beat by my neighbors/cops =)
i discovered that my engine came with a racing clutch and flywheel from OS giken, super single clutch combo. lucky me.
just like yesterday it was a solo mission again, this time with the new engine going in. physically i had no help but i had instructions from a friend over the phone for advice. it all worked out, thanks kurt!
1st thing i did was replace to spark plugs with ngk v-power's (copper , yuck!). i will switch to platinums later.
todays progress: tranny install
i originally attepmted to install the engine and tranny together as one, but i realized it wouldnt work out and that i had to seperate the downpipe and tranny from the engine. tranny is in, tommorow maybe the engine.............stay tuned!
